Individuals On-Line Competition exceeds 6000 visits

The Cheer Power.TV site logged over 6000 visits after the launch of the first On-Line Competition. Visitors are treated with the first individuals to enroll. The new rating and viewing interface has proven to be a new look in Cheerleading on the Internet. Individuals are invited to join the fun and submit videos of their individuals routine for the American Cheer Power judging staff to score and for fans to rate each performance On-Line. Fan ratings count as 25% of the total score. That rating and the judges score will determine the winner.

American Cheer Power Discusses Rating System

With the launch of the Cheer Power Individuals On-Line Competition, the fan is now an active part of the rating system. Rating of Athletes is based on a 10 point scale. Only one rating per Athlete is allowed for each member. However, members may rate all Athletes. So if a Member rates an Athlete at a 10 and that is the only rating, a 10 is displayed in the rating for that Athlete. If another person rates the performance as a 5, the two ratings are averaged together and a 7.5 is displayed. So the key to high ratings is inviting new Members to rate an Athlete's performance as high as possible. Your rating counts.

American Cheer Power invites Competitors

American Cheer Power of Houston Texas, A Varsity Cheer company, has opened invitations to cheerleaders and dancers worldwide to compete in its new Individuals On Line Initiative. Athletes from around the world can submit videotapes of their performance on line to participate in the virtual competition. Cell Phones may be used to record performances and footage may be mailed directly to American Cheer Power for judging. Winners receive valuable recognition and awards.

Athlete performances are judged by professional American Cheer Power judges. The standards are the same as live performances with the same scoring sheets. This is a great training tool for Athletes wanting to improve their routines and get feedback and comments from the cheerleader and dance world.

American Cheer Power launches new Individuals Competition On Line Initiative

American Cheer Power of Houston, Texas, a member of the Varsity cheer and dance family of companies, introduced an exciting initiative to allow cheerleaders and dancers to compete on line beginning December 15th 2010. Videos of performance are be transmitted electronically to American Cheer Power for rating by Cheer Power Professional Judges and fans on line. This on line competition allows Cheerleaders and Dancers to participate no matter where they are in the world. With the advent of high quality cell phones and cameras, Athletes simply record a video of their performance and email the routine to American Cheer Power for rating by team of Professional Judges and Fan Ratings on Line.

American Cheer Power Announces Opening of Registration for the Winter CyberCheer Competition!

Starting the 2011-2012 season off right, Cheer Power announced the opening of the second season of the On Line cheerleading competition on the Internet. This exciting new way for cheerleaders to compete no matter where they live or time of year continues to draw Athletes nationwide. The concept is simple. Cheerleaders use their cell phones to record their individuals performance just as if they were performing in front of judges at one of Cheer Powers premier competitions. They send their video over the Internet to Cybercheer Competition Central where the footage is processed and placed on the Cybercheer viewing and voting site. Visitors may view and rate the performances on line. Votes are also cast on line. Ratings and votes count 25% of the total vote. At the end of the competition, Cheer Power's staff of professional cheerleading judges view and assign scores to each performance. Winners receive valuable consideration and recognition (See the rules for a complete list). American Cheer Power has always been a leader in the industry with new and exciting ideas for cheerleaders and dances. This is just one more in a long history of innovation.

CyberCheer On Line Winter Competition Opens December 1, 2011

Amercan Cheer Power continues its successful CyberCheer On Line initiative by opening registration and video submission on December 1, 2011. Thousands of people viewed and voted on outstanding individual performances by cheerleaders and dancers throughout the nation. Cheer Power is excited about this new way for individuals to compete, any time, any where. All it takes is a competition routine and a cell phone to participate. Summer Competition Now Open- New Voting system

American Cheer Power opened the Summer Individuals On Line Competition on June 1. A new voting system has been created to allow all of your family and friends to vote. This system will be combined with the on line rating system for 25% of the total score. Judging by the professional Cheer Power judges team will remain with 75% of the final score awarded by the team of judges. Submitted footage will be used by the judges to decide winners. Early submission of videos by Athletes is recommended.

Summer Competition will open 1 June 2012

After several successful Cyber Competitions, the Summer sessions will open on 1 June 2012. Be sure to participant in this exciting summer opportunity. Record your routine on your cell phone camera, complete the registration form and send your video to be ready for our panel of judges.

On Line Competition Submission Date Extended

American Cheer Power has extended the submission date for routines until 10 April 2011. Take advantage of this extension of the Spring competition to send in your video to compete on line.
